Norway drops EU terror lists!

A step away from EuroAmericaThe Norwegian government has decided to drop their support to the EU terrorist list! I must admit it, because it does not happen very often, but today, I am totally happy with the government's decision. This is of course very important, as the EU terrorist lists are one of the most important tools that are used against progressive and revolutionary forces, a striking example of many others being the case of Jose Maria Sison. This does not come from any kind of mass movement. Probably, the motivation here is that the Norwegian government, also during the last rightwing period, has seen problems in combining it's support for the EU terrorist lists and it's involvement in peace processes, most interesting here probably being the negotiations between the Gloria … [read more]

A decisive battle is approaching

31/12/2005
In the Venezuelan parliamentary elections, December 4, 2005, two decisive elements for the coming period of the Bolivarian and anti-imperialist process of this country have emerged.A commentary on the parliamentary elections in VenezuelaThe first one concerns the necessity of anti-imperialist self-defence against US interventionist plans. This will be the most important factor in the coming year until the presidential elections to be held at the end of 2006. The withdrawal of the pro-imperialist opposition parties (AD, COPEI, Primero Justicia, Proyecto Venezuela) from the elections for the national assembly is a alarming signal indicating that the USA are preparing plans to hinder a second mandate for the Bolivarian president Hugo Chávez in 2006.
