In the poorest countries of the world, where hundreds of thousands of people die of hunger and diseases, many have celebrated the massacre of New York. Among those peoples who in the last decades have been suffering from all kinds of humiliations, aggressions, massacres and injustice, many have cheered in occasion of the twin tower collapse. They see the evil where the rich see the good.
Only priests with fully stuffed stomachs could condemn these extreme sentiments of the damned of earth. In fact, the poor and miserable consider the USA and their allies as those responsible for their inhuman conditions of life, for the hopeless barbarism they have to suffer from.
Are they wrong?
The hypocrite governors of the US and the NATO states are threatening, cursing and crying that peace is over. What peace? Peace, wealth and cosy life have existed only in rich Western countries, while the rest of the world is in flames, torn apart by bloody wars organised and supported by the imperialists for their very imperialist interests.
They should not cry crocodile tears because now they are reaping what they have sowed! They should not complain because war and blood they have been spreading in the poorest countries are now being returned to the very heart of imperialism.
Many of the victims of the New York massacre are innocent people. But also the Iraqi children who die like flies due to the US embargo are innocent. Also the Palestinians massacred by the Israeli army are innocent. Just like the Yugoslavian people killed by the US/NATO DU-bombs were innocent. Thirty thousand human beings who die every day due to starvation and diseases are innocent.
The human beings are all equal: the people from New York belong to the same species as those killed in Baghdad or Belgrade. Yet, we must not forget those who died in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, since it was there where to the diabolic sound of atomic bombs North-American imperialism was baptized snatching world supremacy from the Nazis.
Now that imperialism has been hit in its very heart it discovers the value of human life and shouts against criminal terrorism.
From our point of view, from the point of view of all those who really care about the destiny of mankind, from the point of view of those who fight for justice, the biggest crime is imperialism, and the criminal terrorists are above all the decision makers of world politics.
Thus, we can have the right to mourn for the innocent people who lost their lives in the morning of September 11. Whereas less honest are the complaints of those who kept silence the other day when the US, the NATO and their servants sowed terror and death among those peoples whose only guilt was not to obey to the imperialist blackmailing.
Imperialism means economic colonialism, social pillage, political abuse, military aggression, cultural violation.
History of mankind has always been accompanied by injustice. However, the abyss between rich and poor, between oppressed and oppressors has never been so profound as in the last decades when the world has experienced increasing US domination.
If peace is really desired then imperialism has to be overcome. Anything else is rubbish, stupidities designed to poison the Western public opinion in order to prepare it for increasing militarism and future wars.
Any person who tells the truth knows that the wars imperialism is going to wage are reactionary and unjust whatever might be their formal reasons. Since we are siding with the poorest and the most miserable, we will not support these wars. On the contrary, we will do our best to stop them by any means.
We will not support the anti-Islamic crusade either which is currently being prepared. We will not support the witch hunt specifically designed to justify new forms of totalitarianism.
Therefore, we clearly condemn the dominant positions the Western left is assuming in these days. Under the pretext of condemning any form of terrorism, the “left” is ending up by equating violence by the oppressors with violence by the oppressed. In fact, the left is siding with the Empire expressing solidarity not only to the American people but also to the Government in Washington.
Solidarity with all oppressed peoples and the damned of earth! Solidarity with all those who fight against injustice and exploitation! For an international front of all revolutionary forces! Imperialism sows death, death to imperialism!
